De er nesten like aktive nå som da de ga oss landeplager som «Let your love flow» og «If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body». Gjennom sin over 50-årige karriere har brødrene gitt ut over 50 album, og rørt mennesker over hele verden med sine tekster og melodier.

Brødrene David og Howard Bellamy startet sin musikalske karriere i 1968 og fikk sin største suksess med albumet “Let your love flow” i 1976. Det albumet ble nr. én på Billboard, og de har over årenes løp hatt 20 topplasseringer på hitlistene. Så sent som i 2011 toppet de også VG-listen her hjemme.

Gjennombruddet til den amerikanske duoen kom med hitten «Spiders & Snakes». Sangen ble en kjempesuksess og solgte mer enn tre millioner eksemplarer, og dette førte til at de seilte opp som en av denne tidens virkelig store artister. Det tok derimot først helt av da «Let your love flow» kom ut i 1976. Den lå på de internasjonale listene så lenge at de opparbeidet seg en enorm tilhengerskare verden over. En kan trygt si at kjærligheten fløt da de turnerte verden rundt og delte scener med blant andre The Doobie Brothers og The Beach Boys.
