Hailing from Bergen, Norway, Audrey Horne burst onto the rock scene in 2002, delivering powerful, melodic and unapologetically in-your-face hard rock. Despite some members' backgrounds in black metal bands such as Enslaved and Gorgoroth, Audrey Horne's music takes a sharp departure from the black metal genre, embracing heavy, melodic classic rock such as Van Halen, Kiss, Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, Ozzy Osbourne , Iron Maiden, Faith No More and Alice In Chains.

The band's name pays tribute to Sherilyn Fenn's character in the cult TV series Twin Peaks, and reflects their artistic flair. Their debut album, "No Hay Banda", not only brought them recognition, but also secured two Norwegian Spellemann nominations, eventually winning the Spellemann prize for best metal act in 2005.

Audrey Horne was formed by a bunch of talented musicians, including Toschie, Thomas Tofthagen, Arve Isdal (Ice Dale), Kjetil Greve, Tom Cato Visnes (King ov Hell), and Herbrand Larsen, where they are on to represent the city's extreme and progressive metal scene. Audrey Horne is proof of the versatility and dynamism of Norwegian rock music.
