About
The story begins in Oslo, 2004. After an after-party, a group of friends with a shared passion for music and humor gathers. They are men who love men and they want to sing together. And thus, Oslo Fagottkor was born.
The small choir grows quickly. More share the interest in singing and humor, and soon they become Norway's most delightful gay choir. They make their debut on the esteemed May 17th, 2004, in front of the crown prince and his mother.
Humor and quality in perfect balance. Oslo Fagottkor is known for their humorous take on all music genres. They are not afraid to take a tongue-in-cheek look at well-known works, but always with a focus on musical quality.
The repertoire is an exciting mix. Alf Prøysen can duel with Britney Spears, and Barbra Streisand can discuss hair products with Edvard Grieg. Oslo Fagottkor offers something for every taste, always with a twinkle in the eye.
