About
Lake Street Dive
The renowned quintet Lake Street Dive will release their fifth studio album Good Together in June, and in connection with it embark on their biggest tour ever.
Lake Street Dive formed in Boston, where they met as young music students while studying jazz at the New England Conservatory of Music. Their breakthrough album, Bad Self Portraits, was released in 2014, followed by Side Pony (2016), Free Yourself Up (2018) and Obviously (2021). Their latest release, Fun Machine: The Sequel from 2022, is an EP that offers six cover songs by artists such as Bonnie Raitt, The Pointer Sisters and Carole King.
Their upcoming album Good Together is produced by Mike Elizondo and will be released on Fantasy Records on June 21. The two singles already released; "Good Together" and "Better Not Tell You", testify to an album that will inspire both unlimited dancing and ecstatic sing-alongs. Lake Street Dive serves up a uniquely eclectic soundscape with a boldly original cross-pollination of soul, folk, jazz and classic pop.
Over the course of their impressive career, Lake Street Dive has created a legacy that stems from a rare collection of musicians with dynamic songwriting chemistry, who are masters of various genres. With tens of millions of streams, an acclaimed discography, and a loyal worldwide fan base, the band - Rachael Price, Bridget Kearney, Mike Calabrese, Akie Bermiss and James Cornelison - has become an adventurous force in popular music.
