Lake Street Dive

Den anerkjente kvintetten Lake Street Dive slipper sitt femte studioalbum Good Together i juni, og legger i den forbindelse ut på sin største turné noensinne.

Lake Street Dive ble dannet i Boston, hvor de møttes som unge musikkstudenter mens de studerte jazz ved New England Conservatory of Music. Deres gjennombruddsalbum, Bad Self Portraits, ble utgitt i 2014, etterfulgt av Side Pony (2016), Free Yourself Up (2018) og Obviously (2021). Deres siste utgivelse, Fun Machine: The Sequel fra 2022, er en EP som byr på seks coverlåter av artister som bl.a. Bonnie Raitt, The Pointer Sisters og Carole King.

Deres kommende album Good Together er produsert av Mike Elizondo og utgis på Fantasy Records 21. juni. De to singlene som allerede er sluppet; «Good Together» og «Better Not Tell You», vitner om et album som vil inspirere til både ubegrenset dansing og ekstatisk allsang. Lake Street Dive serverer et unikt eklektisk lydbilde med en dristig original krysspollinering av soul, folk, jazz og klassisk pop.

I løpet av sin imponerende karriere har Lake Street Dive skapt en arv som springer ut fra en sjelden samling musikere med dynamisk låtskriverkjemi, og som er mestere av ulike sjangre. Med titalls millioner av strømminger, en anerkjent diskografi, og en trofast verdensomspennende fanbase, har bandet - Rachael Price, Bridget Kearney, Mike Calabrese, Akie Bermiss og James Cornelison - blitt en eventyrlig kraft innen populærmusikken.
