About
John Grant
Whether it's indie rock, folk pop, electronica or synth pop, John Grant delivers soaring quality and with a nerve that few other artists can match.
John Grant is currently putting the finishing touches on his sixth solo album, The Art of The Lie. On this project he has collaborated with renowned producer and composer Ivor Guest - who is particularly known for working with John Grant favorites Grace Jones and Brigitte Fontaine. The long-awaited album is scheduled to be released on June 14.
He got his solo career off to a flying start with the acclaimed Queen of Denmark in 2010, which was named album of the year by the music magazine Mojo, among other things. He followed up with the successful album Pale Green Ghosts (2013), and since then it has gone from strength to strength with praiseworthy albums and collaborative projects.
