About
Since her breakthrough at the age of 15 in 2018, Emma Steinbakken has embarked on a journey few Norwegian artists can match. Her debut single "Not Gonna Cry" has garnered over 25 million streams, she has already topped the charts three times, and in 2023, the long-awaited debut album "Home" finally arrived.
Emma's presence, her engulfing vocals, and her ability to convey emotions have captivated audiences in front of both TV screens and concert stages across Norway in recent years. At the same time, Emma has engaged in a variety of genre-exploring collaborations, including with Alan Walker, Matoma, and Kamelen.
But even after growing to become one of the country's biggest pop stars, and with solo shows at Oslo Spektrum, closeness and honesty remain important keywords for Emma - both in life and in songwriting. As Emma herself says, music is at its best when it creates bonds between people and a shared understanding of the lump you have in your stomach - whether it's good or bad.
