About
Dag Sørås is more than just a comedian. He is a hard-hitting and knowledgeable voice that challenges established truths while making you laugh out loud. With his uncompromising honesty and sharp observations, he has established himself as one of Norway's most innovative and successful comedians.
Since his debut in 2002, Sørås has won numerous awards for his work, including the Comedy Award for Newcomer of the Year (2007), the Stand-Up Prize (2012), the Comedy Award for Best Standup (2016), and the Humor Prize for Best Standup (2018).
Sørås has achieved great success with his six solo shows, from "D-Day Live" (2011) to "Apocalypse" (2023). Through these shows, he addresses current issues and challenges the audience to reflect on the society we live in.
On stage, Sørås is known for his brutal honesty. He is not afraid to tackle difficult topics, and he does so with a humorous twist that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.
Sørås may not be the first choice for those looking for a comedian who serves up simple parodies. But for those willing to enter his universe, a sharp, rewarding, and fun experience awaits.
