Ablegøya Tickets

The Cabary Ladies of Nes Friteater are back in action, freely and creatively, with their tenth cabary—a mix of cabaret and revue. The group began as The Witches in 1998, later became The Hens, and for the past ten years, they’ve been known as The Cabary Ladies.

This year’s show is titled “Ablegøya”. The ladies always play their way toward a performance built on ideas and texts they’ve created themselves, with a satirical twist and a sparkle in their eyes. This time, the production is centered around Helgøya. What have they come up with now, one wonders?

To help “land” all the creativity, the ladies have once again enlisted Anders Refsdal to help put the show together. This year’s cabary band features musical director Kristin Brynjulvsrud, her brother Håkon Brynjulvsrud, and Skjalg Lidsheim.
